Refraction House
A.K.A. I-Park Penthouse

This Gangnam penthouse redefines apartment living by drawing Seoul’s cityscape directly into the interior, creating an immersive experience. From panoramic views of the Han River to the greenery of Seonjeongneung and Bongeunsa Temple, two diagonal walls expand the space. In the living room, a stacked glass wall refracts light like rippling water, with shifting sunlight through the layered glass continually bending and reshaping the view. In the family room, a natural wood wall connects to the surrounding landscape, while its rotating form transforms corridors into an extension of the shared family space. Blurring the boundary between inside and outside, Refraction House offers an ever-changing living environment where light, landscape, and daily life intertwine.
